APEC's Solution

System consisted of a stand alone assembly cell that combined two major parts of the customer's process - Product inspection validating the up-stream process, as well as the final forming of the part. By combining the two steps into one piece of equipment, this reduced material handling and streamlined the overall assembly.

APEC's Solution

System consisted of a table top gluing system that allowed the operator to manually load a fixture which initiated the gluing process.  By automating this step, it provided time for the operator to perform their assembly while the subsequent part was being glued. This allowed a more consistent adhesive application and reduced the operator's interaction with the Hot Melt equipment, therefore reducing burn hazard concerns.
