After getting by for years with an aging rewinder that had manual controls and was difficult to run at high speeds, APEC provided a controls upgrade that brought the machine safety up to modern day standards and automated the tension control. This allowed them to run at higher speeds and improve roll quality significantly. By utilizing the existing mechanical frame and equipment as well as tying into existing sensors, our customer was able to save costs on the project while receiving the benefits of a brand new machine.
